Who We Are

A Community Built
on Generosity

Capital Cares is a Utah nonprofit that receives donated goods from corporate and community partners and distributes them through a network of local and global partner organizations — reaching those who need it most, with dignity and abundance.

“Capital Cares exists to serve organizations and people by helping to create a world where everyone is seen as an irreplaceable individual with immeasurable value.”
— Capital Cares Mission

We do not distribute goods directly. Instead, we empower trusted community organizations — nonprofits, faith communities, shelters, and relief organizations — to reach individuals and families on the ground. Every truckload of donated goods becomes a tangible expression of care, delivered through organizations who know their communities.

Donor Impact

Your Generosity
Multiplied

When you give to Capital Cares, your gift doesn’t stop with us. It travels through a network of trusted partners — each one extending your generosity further into the community than any single organization could reach alone.

📦
Goods Become Care
Corporate and community donations of goods are received, sorted, and prepared for distribution — every item a tangible expression of community care.
🤝
Partners Multiply Reach
Partner organizations take goods directly into their communities — to shelters, reservations, refugee centers, and military bases — far beyond our warehouse walls.
❤️
Lives Transformed
Each donation translates into dignity for a real person — a family furnished with hope, a child equipped for school, a veteran cared for.

Every dollar given to Capital Cares goes directly to the work happening to connect people and organizations with needs to material resources. Your financial partnership is needed for every truckload of goods delivered and item distributed.
